Boy dies after suspected heatstroke at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground in Hong Kong

A boy who showed signs of suspected heatstroke has died after vomiting and fainting at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground in Hong Kong. A police spokesman said the force was alerted at 5.11pm on Saturday that the boy, aged between 10 and 12, had vomited and was displaying signs of heatstroke at the main playground of the Tseung Kwan O sports complex.

“He was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital unconscious,” the spokesman said. The boy was later certified dead in hospital at around 6.50pm.
